Tutor - Health and Wellbeing

About the role | Te kaupapa

Whitireia is looking for a Tutor with specific expertise in mental health & addictions, in particular, experience in working with service users within this context. 

The successful applicant will work as part of a team across the following programmes:

New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (L4) (with strands in Mental Health & Addiction and Social Services) 

Experience and Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

  • Appropriate qualification to teach NZCert Health and Wellbeing or appropriate qualification for level 4.
  • Appropriate qualification at a minimum of Degree level & Adult teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with service users in the mental health sector.
  • Highly effective organisational skills, including strong ability to prioritise, problem-solve, show initiative and plan.
  • Will be adaptable and flexible, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
