Technology Delivery Specialist
Permanent, Full-time
Reporting to the Digital Support Manager the purpose of this position are responsible for maintaining all devices that are supplied to kaimahi and ākonga.
This is one of 2 roles that have 2 distinct focuses, one on Audio Visual and the other on End User Compute Management, both are required to provide cover for the other.
They will also be involved in performing audits and health checks to ensure devices remain compliant against the security policies that have been allocated.
Responsibilities:
End User Compute Management
- Performing system administration for enterprise desktop and application management suites, including configuration, version maintenance, security, and access delegation.
- Ensuring operating systems and applications work as expected through testing, troubleshooting, and problem tracking and documentation.
- Fleet computer performance and reliability.
- Technical elements of PC swap-out process.
- Lifecycle and annual desktop planning, co-ordination, delivery and deployment within budgetary parameters (goal of right first-time equipment deployment).
- Ensuring software is reliably maintained and available to staff and students as per our licence agreements (licensing does not expire and is operating within prescribed limits).
- Lifecycle and annual Software planning, co-ordination, delivery and deployment
- Owns the Software Catalogue in ServiceNow and ensures high level, quality documentation and records of Software Experience assets, technical and support information, procedures and policy.
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting printer drivers
- Primary lead on Audio Visual specification, configuration and deployment
- Audio Visual equipment performance and reliability along with maintaining a high level of service and quality audio, visual and connection experiences to users of teaching spaces and meeting rooms
- Technical coach of Service Centre Analyst staff in areas of expertise
- Backup the Service Centre Staff during busy times as required
- Responsible for lifecycle and annual Audio Visual and Conferencing planning, co-ordination, delivery and deployment within budgetary parameters (goal of right first-time equipment deployment)
