Technician - Kitchen


About the role | Te kaupapa

We are currently seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced people to fill the above role situated at the Hospitality School in Petone.

Key Accountabilities | (Ngā takohanga matua)

Working within an experienced team you will be supporting our teaching kaimahi (staff) and ākonga by weighing, distributing and storing of foodstuffs and other commodities, while maintaining the cleanliness and health and safety of our kitchens, store, fridges, freezers and food preparation areas. 

Skills or Personal Attributes

To be successful in the role you will have the ability to demonstrate good knowledge of food industry practice. This will include safe food handling procedures and health and safety requirements. The position will require some heavy lifting, at times; therefore, a good level of physical fitness is essential.
