As a result of recent change at Whitireia and WelTec we have an exciting, new opportunity for a Librarian to join our team. 

About the role | Te Kaupapa

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, professional services to ākonga and kaimahi, primarily through facilitating access to library services, digital information resources and information. Our Librarians will be managing the Whitireia and WelTec libraries’ resources and improving access to these resources. This role will be required to work across all of our campuses. 

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

Highly effective organisational skills, including strong ability to prioritise, problem-solve, show initiative and plan.

• An undergraduate degree and library qualification or equivalent
• Will be adaptable and flexible, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Highly developed customer service skills, with the ability to relate to a broad cross section of people.
